Red light therapy directs specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light toward the body. It does not tan the skin, and it does not use needles, incisions, or strenuous movement. At our New Braunfels office it is a supportive wellness option for recovery, physical comfort, mobility, skin health, and overall well-being, not a cure or a replacement for necessary medical care.
How Red Light Therapy May Support Wellness
People explore it for different reasons. The experience varies by person, treatment area, equipment, and how often it is used.
Exercise Recovery
After a demanding workout or active day, it may support muscle comfort while you rest, and it does not replace sleep, hydration, or gradual training.
Muscle and Joint Comfort
It may support physical comfort when ordinary stiffness or soreness from activity, sitting, or daily strain makes movement feel harder.
Mobility and Movement
It may support comfort between movement or Pilates sessions, but it does not build strength, improve balance, or correct movement patterns by itself.
Healthy-Looking Skin
Some people use it to support the look of their skin, including texture or fine lines, and any change is typically gradual.
What to Expect During a Red Light Therapy Session
Sessions take place in person at our New Braunfels office. The team explains the equipment and any preparation, which can include uncovering the area, removing products that could block the light, and using protective eyewear. You stay near the device for a set time in bright red light and mild warmth. It should not feel painful or excessively hot, and most people return to their usual activities afterward.
Personalized Guidance
Before treatment, the team can talk through what you hope to support, which area to address, and whether another wellness service may be a better fit.
Clear Expectations
Red light therapy is not a shortcut, cure, or replacement for medical care. Share conditions, medications, pregnancy, eye concerns, or light sensitivity before a session.
Evidence-Informed Care
There is no universal number of sessions. Timing depends on your goals, the device, the treatment area, and how you respond.
Convenient New Braunfels Access
All red light therapy sessions are offered in person at our New Braunfels office.
